The Story
Little Feet, Big Shoes is a dream come true. I have always known I wanted to write. I enjoy writing stories and poetry. A lot of the stories I am in the process of publishing are children’s stories told from the perspective of a child and many are based on my own childhood experiences. My goal is to present children with wholesome and inspirational literature.
about me
I am the mother of 2 adult children, a daughter and a son, and I am a grandmother of 4, 3 girls and 1 boy. I love spending time with my grandkids. We enjoy being outdoors 4-wheeling, camping, fishing and rockhounding. Some of the grandkids like to go thrift store shopping with me because I do enjoy spoiling them just a little bit. I like teaching Sunday School for little ones and doing neighborhood activities. I also enjoy gardening. I am young at heart and love being around people.
dreams do come true!!!
I had two dreams as a young child. One was to work in the medical field and the other was to be a writer. The first came true in my 40s after going to trade school to become a medical assistant. I really enjoyed my career, but pediatric patients were my heart.
After retirement, I was able to focus on my second dream. I wrote my first poem at the age of 8, and discovered a gift that I needed to share with others. Many of my writings for tiny children are written in poetry form because little ones are attracted to rhyme and rhythm. I’ve always had a strong faith in God and it has taken many years, but this dream is now coming to fruition.
